Did anyone from Maple 1 sign this petition? ;-) I doubt it for the following reasons:
1.) Maple 1 and Maple 2 should be separate communities for security reasons, without exception. Allowing vehicles to roam freely between 2 developments consisting of +1,000 townhouses is impossible to control from a security perspective, why would anyone endorse this idea?!? Not to mention the poor residents that live in Maple 1 that likely have +25% traffic due to this link...
2.) Regarding the request for a roundabout in front of Maple 2, there is no chance RTA will allow due to the proximity to the Sidra 2 opening. Anyone that has lived in Dubai for longer than 6 months would know the same.
Common sense must prevail, this sort of petition makes us lose all creditability when we approach Emaar for our real issues.

The fact that there is no direct access is ridiculous adding lots of time in the mornings on the way to work and way home. Now the link through to Malpe 1 has been shut further adding to the inconvenience and time of our journey. A roundabout outside maple 2 would solve so many issues and save so much time for many residence.

As a Maple 2 resident, It is rather inconvenient to go all the way around Maple 1 round about and turn back to maple 2. Getting in and out of maple 2 to go to Umm Suqeim rd is very long. A small turning (U-turn) close to maple 2 gate from the main road would be very helpful and convenient, not to mention cars wheel springs wearing out earlier than expected crossing all those speed breakers on both side of the roads.

Fairly?
Maple 1 = one gatehouse
Maple 2 = one gatehouse (no need to enter via Maple 1)
I heard all communities will get a gym and they should be complete by the time COVID settles down and its safe to use.

The residents in Maple 2 have really been hard done by. The closure of the Maple 1 and 2 access point earlier this morning without our knowledge, consultation or consent, with little regard for the impact it will have on Maple 2 residents and their daily chores/routines (whether that be the daily school run, access to Umm Sequim Road or the Zoom/Enoc etc.). This shows a complete disregard for any inconvenience caused to the residents of Maple 2 who were promised, according to the Master Plan, a roundabout outside the Maple 2 community enabling easier access.
The above, combined with the existing single narrow access point Shared by both residents and visitors in the Maple 2 entrance (whereas the Maple 1 entrance has two entry lanes), has left me, as a Maple 2 resident, inconvenienced and disappointed in Emaar’s failure to address these legitimate and easily rectifiable concerns. We as the residents of Maple 2 demand Emaar take affirmative, meaningful and prompt action to resolve this A.S.A.P.

Safety must be considered, especially for those with small children, I have 3 and there is zero consideration by over half of the drivers speeding by my home

Great idea as long as you’re not one of the people living in Maple 1 that has to deal with increase of cars, none of which follow the speed limit.

I live in Maple 2 and I am struggling with o get direct access. We are wasting both time and energy to get around the roundabouts. It makes sense to get UTurns on both sides of the road for convenient access to Maple 2 residents.

No chance RTA will approve due to the proximity to Sidra 2
