Did anyone from Maple 1 sign this petition? ;-) I doubt it for the following reasons:
1.) Maple 1 and Maple 2 should be separate communities for security reasons, without exception. Allowing vehicles to roam freely between 2 developments consisting of +1,000 townhouses is impossible to control from a security perspective, why would anyone endorse this idea?!? Not to mention the poor residents that live in Maple 1 that likely have +25% traffic due to this link...
2.) Regarding the request for a roundabout in front of Maple 2, there is no chance RTA will allow due to the proximity to the Sidra 2 opening. Anyone that has lived in Dubai for longer than 6 months would know the same.
Common sense must prevail, this sort of petition makes us lose all creditability when we approach Emaar for our real issues.

Please open the part of the road connecting maple 1 and 2. This closure makes it extremely inconvenient for us in maple 2 trying to access umm suqueim

Please treat all residents fairly. Why does convenience only apply to Maple 1 residents? You’re putting up a gym for them, closing the road link between Maple 1 and 2 just because Maple 1 residents complain. What about us? When do we get our gym? When can we have our Maple 2 main entrance without having to drive all the way to Maple 1 for a U-turn? Whatever you build in Maple 1 for convenience, you have to build in Maple 2 as well.

It is crazy the lack of access for Maple 2 residents especially now that the connecting link between Maple 1 and 2 has been closed without any form of prior communication or consideration for Maple 2 residents. It is shocking.
