This is a fantastic location and is a great opportunity to enhance the provision of sporting facilities at Botany Bay at a time when these kind of facilities are generally under threat.

Supporting and funding local sporting events is an essential way of helping our young people stay involved in sports and community sporting events. Keeping our young people fit, healthy and involved is extremely important, and separate changing facilities is at the least important; at the most it is expected!

Our children are the stars of the future and with more kids spending their spare time stuck to a computer we need to do all we can to get them and keep them playing sport and it all starts with your local club.

This is a widely used facility but the standard of changing facilities is poor considering the standard of the cricket they are playing. The addition of Cuffley Rugby Club has put added pressure on to the need for better facilities.
The Club also wished to promote more girls participation in sport but the existing changing facilities are not conducive to this.

Botany Bay Cricket Club is an excellent example of a voluntarily run sports club - not only for cricket but also for rugby, petanque and darts apart from a vigorous selection of musical clubs. It is a vital asset to the local community. By having enhanced changing facilities, the club will be in a position to cater for even more events than at present. The hard working voluntary committee deserve as much support as possible to improve the facilities of this excellent club.

The changing rooms are long overdue for a refurbishment. It will benefit the club in many ways and should certainly attract more female players.

The club has made great advances both on and off the field and these new facilities are needed to maintain and progress the club forward
