There are plenty of banks in Lexington. What does Chase propose people do with the money they take out of their ATM? Go to another bank with it? Because at this rate that's going to be the only option! Lexington doesn't need another bank and more importantly, it doesn't WANT yet another bank.

I'm disappointed that our Selectmen are about to let yet another retail space to disappear. There are already too few shops to encourage any browsing/shopping. The Select Board needs to figure out how to make the Center relevant again.

I think prime retail real estate particular with a corner entrance on Mass Ave could be so much more than an ATM. I support keeping this retail space available for a non banking related use.

Not another bank, please. We prefer a old town feel with small businesses.

Too many banks are bad for our town. I feel strongly that this should not be permitted.

Absolutely NOT! it is horrible enough that we have so many already. This adds ZERO value to our community. We need retail and eateries for residents and to give our kids a place to go and socialize, as well as to attract more visitors not another bank! Please do not allow.

I want to limit the retail space used for banking - as well as real estate - in Lexington Center. We also do not need more salons...

There are many far better uses for this space than as a display for machines.

I strongly oppose another bank opening in the retail properties of Lexington Center.

I am a supporter of the restrictions placed on new banks moving into the town center, and I do not believe that this multiple-ATM placement, which will utilize an entire retail storefront in an extremely high-profile, high-traffic location in the town center, should fall outside those rules.

I don't know how anyone can argue that an ATM is not a bank. We do not need another bank or other bank-like structure that will not encourage people to enjoy the Town center and spend time there.

Lexington has enough ATMs. I have seen a Chase Bank set of three machines in Watertown Center as a stand-alone ‘store’. It is not a value add to our community.

The last thing Lexington needs is another bank in the center of town. Please deny permission.
