I have lived in the Herford Zone for 15 years. I agree with eveyone; this is long overdue.

The Hereford Travel Baseball Program appreciates everyone's support to this important cause. Unfortunately, last night HZRPC rejected our proposal for funding the new 90' diamond. We are considering whether to make a new proposal and we appreciate your continued support.

Kids should have the proper facilities to play, learn and grow. This is long over due for the area.

Consider this just a start for recreation facilities qe need to provide for our community and our kids. Basketball, lacrosse, soccer,field hockey, all suffer from lack of access in a community that continues to grow in population and prosperity. Like Olney, Essex,and Owings Mills our community should insist on not just this field but also a multi-use complex. We are tired of the resistance to this project locally and we need to consider it a priority for our generation and not the next. I applaud the effort of those starting this petition and I am hoping we can move toward getting our community the appropriate investment in Parks and Recreation it deserves.

The kids need 90 ft, that's the distance they use at this level. It feels like we are getting rid of baseball for lax, entirely up here.
