Please bring back the rating system. I enjoyed being able to look at 4-5 star rated movies and watching only great content.

The star rating system worked just fine. I really liked it and found it quite useful. What executive came up with the useless thumbs up or down idea??? I predict this is going to reduce Netflix subscription rate growth in the long run. I'm considering whether I should liquidate my Netflix stock holdings because of this ill thought out decision of yours.

HATE THE THUMBS! I too miss instantly being able to tell if I've seen a movie before. Waste of time mailing me something I forgot I've seen already. UGG!

One of the the dominant reasons for choosing netflix over other steaming sites was the star rating system. The thumb system is frustrating, incorrect (does not correctly match preferences) and ineffective.

As someone who values great cinema, the star system was a good way of keeping track of how much I loved a film...or films. It also helped in informing me and others of how others felt about these films. Netflix is not Facebook, or a "friend" or a strangers comment to a friends post.

Sure stars might not have been perfect, but it was much better than thumbs. I waste so much time now going to other sites for reviews and recommends. Thumbs suck.

Go back to the star system. It was way better. How can I thumbs up a movie that was only a 2 or 3 star. Now I don't know which way to vote when it was just an okay film. Maybe you need a "just okay" symbol between the thumbs up and thumbs down symbols.

The new rating system is horrible. I cant tell if a show is a bad, okay, good, or excellent. Only if it matches stuff i watched. That is stupid. I need to know if a show is bad before i spend 15 mins watching the first bit of a bad movie. They're going to lose my subscription.

Thumbs up or down does not give you enough options in rating. There is no different between hated it and it was ok. No difference between favorite movie and barely watchable. Terrible decision, but they will never change it back because someone with a huge ego would never admit a mistake.
