The star rating system allows for users to enjoy a more tailored viewing experience. I despise the remedial bipartisan rating system currently used in the tired "thumb" format.

I started to watch Amazon Prime more, since the new rating system came out. If I can’t filter out the garbage it may as well all be garbage.

yes please bring it back! it's much more reliable than the percentage matched thing. and please make sure that the star rating of a series/movie is an average of all of the user's ratings NOT a prediction of how much he would rate it. No need for so much complicated stuff

Where are my hundreds of star ratings??? I used the list often to remember which movies I want to see again, now all that effort is gone.

For the first time EVER I consider leaving Netflix. without the star rating I find it frustrating and nearly impossible to choose what I want to watch in a sea of content.

Doesn't make any sense that they did this. I thought I could get used to it, but I cannot. I've had to start an IMDB so that could rate movies on a scale and receive suggestions based on those rating. Almost worth bagging Netflix completely, they focus mainly on their own Netflix produced shows and that really was not the reason I signed up. With so much competition these days, its getting tough to justify

I hate the new rating system. It doesn't let me say how much I liked a movie and the suggestions are more inaccurate.

I used the star system to indicate that I have previously watched a movie. I have not lost a very valuable feature. Please restore the star system.

I am still incredibly frustrated by this. I thought I might be able to get used to it, but I can't. I signed up for an IMDB account so I could keep track of ratings and get better suggestions based on those ratings. Netflix is suggesting movies I am not interested in and saying it matches my taste at some high percentage. I have trouble knowing what to rate mediocre movies as well... I didn't like it, I didn't necessarily hate it but I don't want Netflix suggesting other movies like it. So I end up only giving thumbs up to movies I really love and thumbs down to movies I really hate. Basically everything gets a 5 or a 1

The star rating system allowed users to pick on scale of 1-10 or rather 1-5 how good or enjoyable a movie or show was. This kind of rating system is not only much more complex than a babies thumb up or down but it also offers more information to the other users that would otherwise either try out a movie/show or not.
Bring them back. You have lost a competitive edge due to your poor decisions.

Netflix's new rating system sucks so badly, it is beyond comprehension. It is completely, 100%, USELESS. What are they thinking? They really don't have a clue. I don't give a flying F what they think I might like or don't like. It's totally irrelevant. The only thing, and I mean, THE ONLY THING, I want to know about, is what ratings the viewership has given the community. That's all!!! And they have the means to easily report this most valuable information. But what did they do (stupidly) - they chucked that! Their stock is going down, and now I know why. They make dumb decisions, like this one! PUT BACK THE OLD RATING SYSTEM.
