I am opposing it. We live on the Cheam Road. When there is an accident on the M25 or a local road or bad weather, the roads are already grid-locked, so I am opposing it. I already smell the pollution by the Ewell-by-pass that makes me feel faint. I gave preference to sending my kids to schools away from Ewell village as the roads are already busy and dangerous. By East Ewell bridge when it rains, the water doesn't drain properly away and creates one flow of traffic. The drains are bad enough. it will become an urban sprawl. School Class sizes are already bursting without more people living here.Yo ucan't get a doctor's appointment for ages as it is! Better to consider building a road down Kiln Lane and alleveate the traffic through the village. Not many beutiful villages within M25, so this village will decay more if it s more overrun with people who live nearby. It will detract the value of the area which was a hotspot to live.

Such a shame to see yet another area we care for destroyed for financial gain. Shame on Nescot.

I believe that an alternative source of funding should be established to support a Nescot site upgrade. I use the Ewell by-pass everyday and often sit on congested roads in stationary traffic. I also feel that Ewell Village will be ruined by such a massive development. The village atmosphere will be lost forever by over development of the area. This piece of open land is a treasure to the local and transient community that should be protected rather than destroyed.

The bain of our lives is the ever increasing traffic congestion on the Ewell Bye-Pass. We need positive action to reduce or ease this situation NOT a combination of construction traffic and an unecessary increase in the local population.

What are the plans for the community appealling (to the Secretary of State) against the Council's decision to give planning permission?

I totally concur with the comments about traffic congestion

The traffic situation on the Ewell By Pass will be worse than it is already and also it will change the 'green' look and feel of Ewell completely.

We live on the Nonsuch Court Estate and have a 1 yr old daughter. The development would be most unwelcome due to the already constantly congested roads in the area. It can take me upwards of an hour to drive from the Ewell Village Crossroads to Tolworth which is excessive already. The impact of. Further vehicles on the road will mean more pollution, accidents and damage to the already awful road surfaces. Our estate is already getting taken over during the day with cars parking for East Ewell station and this could also impact on our road! The area is know for its green landscapes and this will intrude heavily on the area. The plan to also put a care home on the site seems strange when there is already a new care home being built between drift bridge and Burgh Heath.

over development in already densley populated area. high traffic volumes already, no traffic screening taken place. All schools in area are already oversubscribed. Local hospitals under threat when extra people moving into area.

overly dense development with only one point of access. this road comes out on a blind rise into fast moving traffic.

Its rediculous to add more pressure on traffic, doctors etc

I strongly oppose this development as it will pose additional safety and pollution hazards due to increased road traffic. In addition it will overstretch the resources of local hospitals and schools.

Judith White & I strongly object to this build. The area is not big enough for yet more houses and cars

Ewell village, the surrounding roads and amenities cannot support any further developments of this size

The so called retirement village is NOT a retirement village. Nothing has bee shown as to what the facilities will inclue or if it is only flats in one building. When I have visited the exhibition nobody had any plans or information on thisConcerning the housing have any of the deveopers even been on the Bye Pass . The roundabout if feerequently grid locked. for those coming on the Reigate Road will probably be stuck for hours trying to get out

Sat in the already gridlocked traffic yet again tonight. Why is this being considered when it will have such a significant negative impact.

It will adversely affect Ewell Epsom and the surrounding area.
