Neill Blomkamp for Alien5

I want a satisfying conclusion to Ripley's story.

I think this would really be cool if Alien 5 could be turned into a video game with Sigourney Weaver voicing Ellen Ripley, Michael Biehn Voicing Corp. Hicks, Lance Henricksen Voicing Bishop and maybe they could even get former child actress Carrie Henn to Voice Newt. This would be an awesome video game if 20th Century Fox is willing to do it this way. They did it with Aliens: Colonial Marines and Alien Isolation both games which I love but I think I love Alien Isolation more. But any way I think it would be cool if they finished Ellen Ripley's story in a video game this would sell like crazy and I would be the first in line to buy Alien 5 video game. Or I have another idea have them Voice their characters in maybe an animated feature film.

I believe a fresh take on the Alien franchises needed to keep it alive because quite frankly I think ridley Scott is off and left field somewhere and needs to retire and pass the torch to someone with a new and fresh perspective because his last two movies have been so far off the grid that they left nothing but more questions than answers it makes one wonder why keep backing someone who lost the edge many many years ago all the hype I've seen on YouTube and I say he completely is destroying what may be left of the Alien franchise so give A person with a fresh perspective a chance to revitalize it thank you very much Richard Parks

What? Alien 5 now not happening? What is wrong with 20th Century Fox? Yeah I guess we could pretty much blame Ridley Scott for the cancellation of Alien 5. Originally Neill Blomkamp's Alien 5 was supposed to happen first and then they were going to get back into the Alien prequels, but then Ridley Scott had to step in. It's a shame because I would have loved to see Sigourney Weaver make her long waited return to the original Alien franchise that launched her awesome career. Since Ridley Scott is planning two more Alien prequel films I doubt that Ripley will show up, but if she did show up I would totally be excited but for now I we can do dream about what Alien 5 would have been and I think Neill Blomkamp's take on it would have been wonderful thing to see.

Growing up, I adored the Alien franchise. All four movies were a big part of my childhood and I have varying attachments to each of them; whether it be storylines, characters, the special/practical effects utilised, or the actual development of the Aliens we know and love. While I know some view Alien 3 and Alien: Resurrection with some distain/dislike, I never really minded them. Having said that, it did always disappoint me that we didn't get to see more of Hicks and Bishop. Blomkamp's ideas, and the conceptual art we'd seen of them so far, looked very promising. It would be so interesting to see how he would have added to it (the franchise) and certainly something that a lot of the fans of the original films would enjoy. And Alien wouldn't be Alien without Ellen Ripley. Just the thought of Sigourney Weaver reprising her role as one of the best women of cinema would be incredible. A nostalgia trip and a wonderful performance all in one. I don't know what it would take to have this Alien 5 come to fruition, but it would be something I would anticipate greatly if ever announced to be in official production. I hope this partition can help sway the right people in having Blomkamp's vision become a reality.

I can't believe that 20th Century Fox is letting Ridley Scott doing another film after two failed films Prometheus and Alien Covenant. It was a bad move on Fox's part cancelling Alien 5 because if the third Alien prequel fails the box office, Fox studios will be whining because they will not be making money.

I still can't believe what 20th Century Fox did to us fans after all that waiting and back and fourth delays with Alien 5, just to end up cancelling Alien 5. Man I was really looking forward to Alien 5 and Sigourney Weaver's return to the Alien franchise. 20th Century Fox is just wasting their time with the Alien prequel series.

It's so hard to believe that Ridley Scott and 20th Century Fox are not interested in continuing with a fifth sequel in the original Alien franchise, because many, many fans would love to see Sigourney Weaver reprising her role as Lt. Ellen Ripley. It's a shame that the fans will never know what kind of movie Alien 5 would have been like I just can't believe that 20th Century Fox cancelled Alien 5, Neill Blomkamp's vision of Alien 5 looks like it would have been amazing. I have lost faith now with "ALIEN" because they are ruining this franchise with the Alien prequels. Oh well, at least I have all 4 Alien films on Blu-ray watch any time I want. I will not watch any of the Alien prequels.
