FAO: 20th Century Fox .
I was utterly shocked that you removed Neill from directing a follow up to James Cameron ALIEN - To make way for Ridley Scotts Next film ALIEN Covenant . Covenant was an utter joke, not to mention a pure bore to watch. The direction Scott has put the prequel in is stupid. The actors , apart from fessbender was appalling the story dull, the over used CGI was like watching a PS3 game. You had a golden ticket with Neill wanting to fix the mess that happened with ALIEN 3 and Resurrection . He is a talented , young , experienced director that this franchise is begging for - not to forget you have the amazing Sigourney weaver who was also excited - and even james cameron stated he like the script. GIVE ALIEN THE GREEN LIGHT !

This petition should have reached 10,000 plus signatures by now. That would show 20th Century Fox and Ridley Scott that we do not care about the stupid Alien prequels that are messing up this franchise. Come on fans sign this petition and show them that we the fans really want Alien 5 more than the prequels, I hope the other untitled Alien prequel projects gets cancelled.

I want to see Sigourney Weaver reprise Ripley one last time in an Alien film rather it's Alien 5 or an Alien prequel let's just bring her back into the Alien story, Ripley's fate has been unknown since Alien Resurrection left our theaters since 1997 so it's been 20 years since the fans have seen that character in a Alien film. Dear Sigourney Weaver if you read this please come back to the Alien franchise you are the best there is you still have what it takes to play Ellen Ripley again.

If Fox can't do anything better than Alien Covenant, then the Alien franchise is dead. Ridley Scott really wants this franchise to fail with the Alien prequels. Here in Alien Covenant you have a ship of people a crew basically who makes a stupid decision who goes to an unknown planet and calls it home basically they have no clue of what kind of danger awaits them. Man, Alien Covenant really was a mess of a film. The only way to watch a decent Alien film again is to bring back Sigourney Weaver's Ripley, heck have Ripley come in the prequels at least that character already know what she is dealing with. But really Alien 5 needs happen to wrap up this once loved franchise.

Ridley Scott already destroyed two films Prometheus and Alien Covenant. Ridley Scott came out with Prometheus which failed the fans. When someone like Neill Blomkamp showed up and says " I want to make an Alien sequel." Then all the attention went to
Alien 5. Then while Alien 5 went into development for a while. Ridley Scott was getting worried that Alien franchise was going to be taken over by another director. So Ridley Scott just sat, and sat around until the final decision was made Alien Covenant will be the next film to come out. As stupid as the Alien prequels are it's a shame that Fox is wasting every ones time with the Alien prequels.

What the hell is wrong with 20th Century Fox? We the fans didn't ask for Prometheus or Alien Covenant. I am really pissed off right now! Prequels suck the begin with! Alien Covenant forced Alien 5 off the table! and after all the back and fourth delays! Instead FOX backed up Ridley Scott and the crappy Alien prequels? We the fans wanted Alien 5 mostly! If they already knew that Alien 5 was not going to happen the begin with they should not have announced it the begin with and after all that getting all the fans excited about a true sequel to Aliens. It looks like that they rebooted the Alien series with the Alien prequel series at least that is what it looks like now. WOW! this is like a huge, huge slap in the face by Ridley Scott and 20th Century Fox. I guess Ridley Scott does not care about the fans at all, because if he did I think he would have backed up the Alien 5 project.... this is it I am done with the Alien. This is just how I feel so long Alien.
