Neill Blomkamp for Alien5

So apparently I went back and did research online about Neill Blomkamp and his Alien 5 pitch. So there wasn't a script in place as many said there was, so this whole thing was just a pitch to 20th Century Fox back in 2015. So Fox wanted the fans to believe that they were actually going to produce a Alien 5 on film, taking Neill Blomkamp's pitch. So this was just a wild dream. It's odd because you would think about it when they celebrated Aliens and comic-con 2016 that Neill Blomkamp himself would have been there to clear everything up. hmmm...both Sigourney Weaver and James Cameron highly praised the script (But was there a script? or were they just praised the idea of it all?) It's odd that 20th Century Fox at the time didn't leak anything out after Neill Blomkamp's pitch got scrapped. I think the whole thing was just a crock!!!! But you would think some kind of leak would have gotten out by now.

I love the Alien franchise! I think Neill Blomkamp and Sigourney Weaver should be allowed to finish Ripley's story on film, I hope Disney is listening to the fans that we still want too see Blomkamp's film to still be produced!!!

This was just plan wrong! I'm telling you the studio gave James Cameron, David Fincher and Jean-Pierre Jeaunet all chances at making their Alien films. So why didn't they give Neill Blomkamp a chance? That was just wrong former 20th Century Fox!!!

I'm hoping the studio will reconsider doing this movie! I mean this would really redeem the Alien franchise. Ridley Scott damaged the Alien series further with the Alien Prequels. It's only fair that the studio should give Neill Blomkamp the chance. Also, forget about all the negative comments that people/fans leave on here. Neill Blomkamp was the perfect choice for a Alien film. He wanted to give the fans back what was taken away from us, and that's having Hicks and Newt return alongside with Ellen Ripley.

This would have been another Terminator Dark Fate flop!!! Glad Fox scrapped this!!! We don't need anymore Alien films with Sigourney as Ripley. The studio will never bring back Weaver or her character it's time to move on from Ripley. Plus, Sigourney had a great run in the original Alien franchise. There is no need to bring her back again for a Fifth movie or any other Alien film just let it be!!! Plus, ever since Fox scrapped Blomkamp's Alien reboot Weaver is showing no signs of ever returning.....Oh Well!!!

Just let Alien die already! The studio pretty much killed it with Alien Covenant! Plus the Alien franchise has been through enough hell already!!!

Neill Blomkamp's sequel would have redeemed the Alien franchise. Alien 3, Alien Resurrection, the Alien Vs. Predator spin-offs, and the Alien Prequels all put the Alien franchise through hell.

The executives at Fox at the time were a bunch of pussies for not going with Neill Blomkamp.

Ripley needs a true ending to her story. I did not like the endings she got with Alien 3 or definitely Alien Resurrection!

If Jamie Lee Curtis and Neve Campbell can return to their iconic roles, then Sigourney Weaver can return to her iconic role as Ripley in a feature Alien film. I just don't understand why Weaver just don't do a Alien 5. I guess she's not over Fox scrapping Neill Blomkamp's Alien reboot.

They can easily reboot the main Alien series just already have Ripley back on Earth with Newt, Newt's husband and teenage children. Ripley would be about in her 60's. Newt warns Ripley that a new company is trying to get control of the Xenomorphs again. Ripley then tells the story to her grandchildren of how the Xenomorphs became a nightmare for her. Then Ripley will eventually set out and reunite with Newt and put an end to her nightmares once and for all.

Why don't they just come up with a story of a grandma Ellen Ripley, with Newt as her daughter and Newt has a husband and children. And Ripley tells her story to her grandchildren who are about in there teenage years about how the Xenomorphs became a nightmare for Ripley.

Sigourney Weaver has not attached herself to any "Alien" project ever since 20th Century Fox scrapped Neill Blomkamp's Alien Reboot back in 2017 but can you blame her? Neill's Alien reboot was the perfect reboot for the main Alien series. Now that it's gone, I highly doubt Weaver will ever be involved with the Alien franchise ever again.

What?!?! Sigourney Weaver turned down Walter Hill's Alien 5? Man no offense but this woman changes her mind way too much when it comes to a Alien 5. Weaver, needs to stop screwing with fans and just do a Alien 5 already. She needs to get over Neill Blomkamp's scrapped Alien Reboot that would have ignored Alien 3 and Alien Resurrection.

Nope not interested in seeing another Ridley Scott failure Alien film. The studio needs to hand over the Alien franchise back to James Cameron and let him team up with Neill Blomkamp and deliver the "Alien movie" that we all wanted too see, period!!!

This was so messed up!!! Ridley Scott had "No interest" in returning to the Alien series after Prometheus was released back in 2012. This is....until the one man (Neill Blomkamp) who could have saved the Alien series from further damage by Ridley Scott. Alien Covenant proved to be a box office bomb. If the studio continues with Ridley, they will kill the Alien series for good!!! This was the hot ticket for (Fox at the time) that is until Ridley decided to stick his nose in were it didn't belong. This was the "Alien film" we all wanted and it's a shame that Fox didn't go with it. THIS MOVIE MUST HAPPEN DISNEY!!!!

This Alien reboot would have repaired damage cause by Alien 3. This Alien reboot should have happened and not Alien Covenant. Why Fox scrapped this is beyond me. They should have given Alien to Neill Blomkamp. Ridley Scott is only damaging the Alien franchise further, and if he is trying to connect Raised by Wolves to "Alien" then I am done with this franchise.
