Please do this movie Fox! I love Sigourney Weaver and the Alien franchise. Doing a direct sequel to Aliens would be amazing. The fact that Weaver will be 70 years old this year, and still willing too make Alien 5 is just amazing. Neill's script must really be amazing. Fox please come up with a decision soon!!!

Ridley Scott's Prequel films are just awful! I'd wish Fox would do this sequel and get back to the Ripley, Hicks, Newt, and Bishop storylines.

I was so excited that Neill Blomkamp was evolved when Alien 5 was first announced. I hope Alien 5 has still some life because I'm such a fan of the Alien franchise (even Alien Resurrection.) Alien 5 is such a great opportunity. Fox needs too do this and bring back the horror!

Fox is an idiot for not doing this movie. Blomkamp would have knocked the ball right out of the park with this sequel for sure. Just give Sigourney, Michael Biehn, whoever is going to be the "new Newt" and Lance Henricksen their guns and acid blooded Aliens and boom! Money! Neill Blomkamp direct have James Cameron produce. With Cameron's help this sequel will succeed! Ridley Scott lost his mojo with Alien and confuse fans with those idiotic Alien Prequels!

I'm crying now. Just sitting here thinking about what kind of plans that Neill Blomkamp was going too do with his Alien 5 project! I love Sigourney Weaver and I love Ellen Ripley! Why Fox just why? Alien will be celebrating it's 40th anniversary this year! This would have been the perfect timing for Neill Blomkamp's Alien 5!!! so sad; much love to Sigourney Weaver and Neill Blomkamp hope you both get too make this sequel!!!

Alien Covenant was just a plain terrible, awful, garbage, I threw the Blu-ray in my closet and never watched it again! This movie should have not been made at all! It's full of dull characters and the plot makes no sense too it at all! and it takes at least so long before something actually starts too happen! And it really doesn't move the Alien franchise forward either! Fox, executives are the dumbest people in the world! They should have gone with Neill Blomkamp's Alien 5 enough said!

I've been waiting for a new Alien film like this to tie into the first 2 Alien films of the Alien franchise for many of years now, didn't like the direction of Alien 3 and Alien Resurrection. A story like Neill Blomkamp's Alien film should be made. Why in the hell did Fox executives let this story and idea for Neill Blomkamp's Alien 5 fall right out their hands?!?!?

20th Century Fox, is best known for making bad decisions and they have a find reputation with that, and ruining their own Alien franchise. The big question is....are they really in touch with the fans?!?!? Because if they are why haven't no spokesperson from Fox come out and say anything about Neill Blomkamp's shelved Alien 5?!?!? Alien 5 would have been a huge fixer upper for the Alien franchise, especially after Ridley's Scott's huge screw up!!! 20th Century Fox has always made bad decisions/choices when it comes to Alien!!!!

Hey FOX, I have an idea bring a new character into the Alien franchise let's just say that Ellen Ripley had two kids.....not only a daughter but also a son that Ellen Ripley hardly talked about. And Ellen Ripley's son will go out and desperately search for his missing family......Then he will encounter the Xenomorphs for the first time. And also what if the Ellen Ripley's son was told that the "real Ellen Ripley" died on Fury 161 and he barley escapes a planet over run by Xenomorphs and finds his mother's remains in the furnish were Ripley died in Alien 3. Kinda have it link were at the end of Alien 3 left off!!!

I guess FOX, will never learn from their past mistakes especially after the failure of 2017's Alien Covenant! What a massive disappointment that was! One of Fox's biggest mistakes ever is that they should have gone with Neill Blomkamp and Sigourney Weaver. That would have been a win, win for Fox Studios plus not to mentioned all that money. But instead we got the worst alien film ever, Alien Covenant! Neill Blomkamp would have done an amazing job with Alien 5. Let's be real here he is trying to fix the franchise by putting back on that roller coaster ride again. I am so angry at Fox when they decided not too move forward with Blomamp's Alien project! and instead we get these lame/lazy storytelling Alien Prequels. In my opinion, the Alien franchise deserves Alien 5 too be made! and let me re-fresh your memories Fox, you had green-lit Blomkamp's Alien project back in 2015. Then all the delays started in 2016! Fox you already knew you weren't going too move forward with Blomkamp's Alien project. Fox, totally disrespected Neill Blomkamp, Sigourney Weaver and the fans of the Alien franchise for not allowing them to proceed with Alien 5.

Take a hint Fox! Look at what Halloween did. They managed to bring back Jamie Lee Curtis's Laurie Strode and scrapped all the sequels plus Rob Zombie's remakes. Now do the same with Alien 5 and scrap the sequels/prequels and bring back Sigourney Weaver to her iconic role as Ellen Ripley, just as they did with Jamie Lee Curtis.

I wish we would have see Neill Blomkamp's Alien sequel. It looked so promising with all those amazing concept art. Sigourney Weaver, Michael Biehn, and Lance Henricksen were all on bored the project though there would have been a re-casting of Newt (no big deal there.) Why oh why in the hell did Fox go with the horrible Alien Covenant what were they thinking? Blomkamp would have made "A REAL ALIEN SEQUEL." Fox, destroyed there own franchise by going with Ridley Scott and those idiotic ALIEN PREQUELS!!!

They should just end it all with Alien 5. They started the Alien franchise with a bang with 1979's Alien! and it's only fair they should end it all with a bang with Neill Blomkamp's Alien 5 especially since it would finish Ripley's story, the greatest character in Sci-Fi history!!!

I'm a huge fan of the original four films and Prometheus was a decent film to take a look back every now and then. Alien Covenant was just a waste of 2hrs. The concept of a dangerous AI named David who kills all the engineers and starts creating the "Classic Xenomorph" just strikes me as lazy storytelling! A desperate attempt to link with the original 1979 film. I wish Ridley Scott would have concentrated more on Alien 5 with Neill Blomkamp for the more serious Sci-Fi fans. Alien Covenant was just a waste of an opportunity!
