I was disappointed when I heard this project had stalled, perhaps in part to Ridley Scott/ Fox wanting to drive the Alien franchise thru Alien: Covenant. Many fans and industry people, some of those clsoely linked with the franchise, agree this is a great idea and it would be a shame not to see it realsied and give us closure to the characters we fell in love with in Alien/Aliens. The franchise seems to have moved further and further from it's origins, which is a shame.
The public arena si big enough for 2 Alien movies and Joe Public is smart enough to know the difference between them.
Please give this project a 2nd chance at life....

Prometheus was underwhelming, and Ridley Scott wasn't making much move on its sequel until Alien 5 came along. I'd personally enjoy seeing where Neil Blomkamp's story will go.

We, the undersigned, hereby request that Neill Blomkamp reconsider the possibility of writing/directing a potential Alien5 film. It is in you, we (the fans) put our tremendous faith and overwhelming excitement, in hopes that you revisit the idea of ALIEN fandom...for all of us.
