Please please we the fans need another good alien / aliens film. Hicks and Newt have so much more story in their characters.

This has to be made. As flawed as it is I do like Alien 3 but the franchise ended as soon as they killed Hicks & Newt...so much potential. The first 2 were just before my time and I adore them but each time i near the end of Aliens I'm filled with sadness as nothing built there is ever continued, I've longed for a worthy Alien sequel for years now- a continuation of the Ripley's story ALONGSIDE, Hicks & Newt (especially Hicks). Blomkamp is a fan, he ain't after a makingban easy buck or two, he cares about these characters and the legacy created by Scott and Cameron- and us, his fellow fans.

Having seen Neill Blomkamp's films I am convinced he would create a brilliant Alien world, having made such fantastic visual effects driven sci fi masterpieces.

Fans have wanted this movie for decades! I love Prometheus and want to see Ridley Scott's films, but ALSO desperately want to see THIS movie made! STAR WARS, Marvel, DC, and many other popular franchises are releasing multiple movies from different timeliness or groups of characters concurrently and regularly, the ALIEN franchise is great and vast enough to do the same, and we want Ripley and Hicks back while that is still possible!

Neill Blomkamp is the perfect visionary mind to create and helm a new Alien film, especially one that will do justice to the series. Ripley also deserves respectable closure, and Sigourney Weaver is the only person right for the character. Please let this happen.
