When I first heard of the possibility of an Alien 5, I couldn't have been more excited. While I still love Alien 3 and am disappointed David Fincher gets a bad wrap from the film sometimes, the continuation of the story is something I've dreamt of. I've read all the books and the old comics multiple so to say this is my favorite series, or theatrical universe if you will, is a major understatement. Please please please at least entertain the thought of a retcon sequel. If for nothing else, at least do it to atone for Alien: Resurrection. Jkjk.
But not really...

Make this happen, from all I've read everybody loves the script...this would be like printing money rather that taking vert risky chances by financing these other Alien films (and I love Ridley), come on Hollywood, use your collective brains here!

It'd be a shame to miss such a huge opportunity to see the alien '3' we should have had all those years ago

Love the idea that he will direct an Alien movie. Just not Alien 3.2. I want a proper Alien 5.

Would love to see Hicks' story played out and the concept art previewed by Neil come to life on the big screen. Don't let Alien Resurrection be the end of Ripley's tale!
This need to happen!
