Please, please please make Alien 5!! The movie that Alien fans truly want to see. Ridley's Prometheus was ok....but Fox's decision that a sequel to that is the preferred/more profitable option defies belief!!
We need to see Ripley and Co one last time!!

When I was 16 I watched a movie that blew me away. It had everything I loved in a movie: monsters, action, heroes, space ships. That movie was Aliens, to me the greatest movie ever made. When Alien 3 hit theatres I was jumping out of my skin to see it and while, over the years, I have come to appreciate Alien 3 for what it is, I vividly remember my feelings of utter disappointment about the way Hicks and Newt were dispatched during the opening credits. When I heard Neill Blomkamp was planning on bringing these characters back in a direct sequel to Aliens, I felt that excitement of my 16 year old self flood back to me. Please make this movie.

Alien has always been my favorite movie franchise, and Niels works is some of the most aesthetically beautiful cinematography to ever be, in my opinion. Seeing him continue the story of Ripley in an alternate timeline with Hicks and Newt still alive would be incredible, and has so much potential to keep this franchise thriving for many years.

Neil's artistry moves me. It takes me to places I cannot go on my own. I am free and unburdened, which is rare for me. If you can help just one soul feel elevated and completely free...well, isn't that enough?

How can the thought even occur to stop? So many fans are waiting for this! It will be a profit for the fans, creators and producers alike. Do not revisit the idea: MAKE the idea.
