It would be a dumb move on 20th Century Fox's part if they cancel Alien 5, because they would be letting down millions of fans who want Alien 5 to happen. I love Mr. Blomkamp's ideas and I love the fact that Newt will become the franchise's next female heroine, if they continue with feature installments, I don't think Alien 5 will be the last film in the Alien franchise because if Alien 5 gets made and it's a huge success which it will be, then further sequels will involve with the character of Newt, so I love the idea of the passing of the torch between Ripley and Newt. I love the Alien franchise, it's my all time favorite franchise, 20th Century Fox please don't cancel, just hope you give us Alien fans a release date for Alien 5 soon.

This sequel is a must to do the first 2 movies and it's characters justice, I loved the chemistry between Hicks and Ripley in Aliens and was very disappointed to not see this expanded apon in the 3rd film after the killed Hicks off, also would like to see what kind of strong female character Newt would become, I think it's a great concept that should be followed up on.

Mr blomkamp , this movie needs to happen , I'm sat watching aliens right now at 2am in the UK , and i love this film but it needs closure , alien 2 + 3 did not do this franchise justice , hicks , Ripley and newt really need to make a return , in my opinion Prometheus is overrated and alien convenent holds no substance in comparison to what a 3rd alien movie could accomplish, the potential is endless
MAKE THIS HAPPEN!!!!!
