I would love to see Blomenberg´s idea for a movie after Aliens. The 3rd was not bad; but for me the only really good ones and connecting (in idea, design and everything) are 1 and 2. So a sequel to aliens (no new creatures that make no sense, Marines again, same "classic" design) would be exactly what fans hope for for ages. And Blomenberg I believe he might have what is needed to make it right. No over with cgi, classic looks...
the only thing, no matter how much I would like to see Weaver and Biehn back, is that I can´t imagine how they yould be in the sequel, being much older. So maybe it would be better without them.

Must absolutely make a new alien movie. I have seen Alien and Aliens about 50 times each. Please please make the remake of the third movie. You are best! Nobody kan make it like you. AND I have found a leading lady that will make Sigourney proud, and can keep on filming for years. She has Sigourneys glow and charisma. Watch her in Tiger House and you will understand. I do not only petition a start up, but also the next 50 movies. The girl I suggest could learn about the Aliens from Sigourney in the first movie, and then "take over" the fight.

BECAUSE ALIEN 3 IS A MALIGNANT TUMOR THAT HAS BLIGHTED THE ALIENS FRANCHISE SINCE IT CAME OUT OVER 2 DECADES AGO AND IT IS WELL PAST TIME SOMETHING WAS DONE ABOUT IT.

We need Alien 5. Everyone knows the unsettling feeling both Alien 3 and 4 left within our hearts. We need some closure - and not some more prequels. Give us Alien 5 please, just the way Neill Blomkamp envisioned.

Jesus Crist!!! What is wrong with the people at 20th Century FOX? They didn't give Neill Blomkamp a chance. They need to over look the idea again. We did not ask for the Alien prequels series.

I am with Neill Blomkamp. I too only favored the first two films. My explanation Alien 3 and Alien Resurrection does not exist in the franchise. Ripley's story only awaits continuing. We need a proper closer. FOX needs to over look this project.

Aliens is my all time favorite movie! Alien 3 was a disappointment especially when killing off all the characters... Alien 5 would properly close the series and with Ridley Scott making the prequels I believe it would make the Alien franchise one of the strongest in movie history right along with something like Star Wars... we need Alien 5... we need proper closure...
