20th Century FOX, Neill's Alien project simply has to happen after a lot of complaints about Alien Covenant, I am just going to stick with the original franchise because that to me is the best story lines the fans need, me and my friends have said that we don't need a backstory of who, and or what created the Xenomorphs it's a complete waste of time not to mention money!!! We need a proper Alien sequel with Sigourney Weaver!! Ripley will always be the best female action hero in Sci-Fi history!!! People of 20th Century FOX, the fans want this Alien sequel more than any thing, the studio would be foolish just to have it scrapped.

Ridley Scott in my opinion has ruined his art work after promethius and alien covenent. Cgi alien looks so fake. Neil blomkamp has made 3 amazing movies and deserves the chance to revive the horror. With the old cast.

I wish FOX would just Green-Light the film and shoot it and just put it in a can for now, and just release it after Ridley Scott is finished with his Alien prequels because no body is getting any younger.

given how bad talien3 was both as a movie and as a sequel to aliens, one of the best sci-fi films ever made, and that alien 5 could be the long awaited and proper sequel to that, i dont wanna see it getting cancelled

Instead of Alien 5 being in the theaters, why don't FOX just make the film....have this film be the only film be released on direct to home video Blu-ray/DVD release, this would sell like crazy!!!! I would buy 3 copies. They are doing it with another film Cult of Chucky, so why can't FOX do the same thing.

This is such devastated news I was really looking forward to Neill's sequel rather than the Alien prequel series, because think about it, it took a long time for Sigourney to accept a script ok it's not a completed script but an idea of wear to take Ripley too next. I would have loved it, if they had continued with the original franchise because I would have loved to see Newt as the series new heroine, plus if it had continued we would have gotten an Alien 6!!! People at 20th Century FOX please re-visit Mr. Blomkamp's ideas. Thank you for your time.

Someone needs to stop Ridley Scott with this ridiculous backstroy that is throwing the original completely under the bus. Make this movie happen and do the franchise something good! Do it for the xenormorphs!

I am a true fan of the alien franchise and I would love to see further films. Giving Ripley her well deserved final film with the possibility of handing the torch to newt, would be immense. There's still a lot of life in that old alien
