Alien 5 should continue. Whether it will be a movie, video game, or graphic comic book, it deserves to exist.

Blomkamp would have made his film 100% more excitement for the fans, than Ridley Scott's Alien prequels. Ridley Scott's Prometheus and Alien Covenant are just the same old thing..... I group of people exploring a dark dangerous world and have no idea what they are up against. Ridley Scotts Alien prequels won't answer any burning questions the Alien prequels will just over run the original Alien franchise and we don't need all of this back story telling leading up to 1979's Alien. If Fox is smart enough they would stop with the third Alien prequel.

I think Neil would add a fresh new perspective on the franchise. It needs a new approach. Ridley can handle the prequels while letting others do future installments in the franchises timeline. I personally would love to see his take on it. We never really got a proper or satisfying closure to Ripley's story in the franchise and it would be fantastic to see her and Hicks back in a proper sequel to Aliens. I think it was a huge mistake to kill off Hicks for Alien 3. Especially after establishing his and Ripley's relationship in Aliens. It made you want to see more of them together, what was next? I would love to see those two characters together again and facing whatever the corporation throws at them and trying to exterminate the xenomorph for good. Plus you cant just kill off Newt either. I do not think I'm alone when I say that I would rather see the next chapter in these characters adventures within the alien universe rather than a prequel (I like covenant, although the last act I totally lost interest as it was the same old, no build up of tension!) or alien vs predator rubbish. I think that Blomkamp can bring an exciting, creative and unique angle to the franchise. Plus hes an alien fan so he understands what makes alien films alien films! Just judging by his concept art alone I want to see what he conj-ours up! Ridley has had his go three times. I want a new fresh approach. And I liked Scott's last two but its getting old not answering all of the questions. He set up the engineers in the first one and then had them wiped out in the second, not elaborating on them that much!, and focused more on the alien! The whole point of Prometheus was to go in a new direction! Everyone complained that nothing was explained in Prometheus and when the sequel comes around he focuses more on the alien. Come on! Give me more engineers, their motives, their creations, their culture, their bio weapons etc. But money talks so he made another mass audience friendly alien movie.

Bring back the class to aliens since Riddly/Fox have yet again failed the fans.

I really don't want that fan letter I fired off to Michael Biehn to be in vain-Love's Black Beauty finally came out as did River Phoenix's Dark Blood-let Neill take a run at it!!:)

Do it even if you have to go low budget. I bet the first one was. Let Ripley finish the story. Btw, good job killing all the engineers in covenant, whaaaat?

I don't know how the rest of the fans feel, but I feel betrayed by the people at 20th Century Fox and Ridley Scott, we the fans didn't want the Alien prequel mess and I don't think Ridley Scott or Fox cares about the fans. So I won't be supporting any more Alien films in the future because of Ridley Scott sorry this is just how I feel, because Blomkamp's Alien would have rocked!!!!

The original Alien franchise has been dead since 1992's Alien 3 and it was revived with 1997's Alien Resurrection because they could not leave Ellen Ripley dead. Now fast forward to 2015 when Neill Blomkamp posted some amazing concept art for an Alien sequel with Sigourney Weaver reuniting with Michael Biehn and I thought that was genius! The way how Neill Blomkamp thought of this idea and to have the story only tied into the first two films Alien (1979) and Aliens (1986) was just totally out of this world! Fans have been waiting a long time for Sigourney Weaver to return as Lt. Ellen Ripley. And Fox would rather back up Ridley Scott's Alien prequels? I mean come on Fox what's the problem? Alien 5 would gross in a lot of money more than Prometheus and Alien Covenant combined.

The only thing I hated about Alien Covenant is that they killed off Dr. Elizabeth Shaw! Elizabeth Shaw was one of the greatest characters and her character should have been the main focus in the Alien prequel series. Fox needs to under stand that we did not ask for the Alien prequels. Ridley Scott is ruining the original Alien franchise with all of this back story telling. We want Alien 5 why can't Fox under stand?

From what I've heard about the film it sounds like the Aliens 3 we should have gotten. I really hope it gets made, I'll be first in line at the theater.

The Alien franchise introduced me to a whole new world of films, the Alien films are some of the most brilliantly written films of all time. Alien 5 deserves to exist, this film fans have been wanting for years since Resurrection (1997) and now we almost had it until it had a chance of cancellation. Alien 5 won't disappoint, this film deserves a chance.

I have a lot of respect for Sigourney Weaver, Michael Biehn and Neill Blomkamp. I am not too hot about Ridley Scott and his latest Alien Covenant though. I must say that the people at 20th Century Fox should give Mr. Blomkamp some credit because he is very passionate when it comes to "Alien" and he is the only person that was able to think of the right story for Ripley. The people of 20th Century Fox needs to Green-Light this movie.

It's now clear Fox and Scott used the fantastic, excited fan excitement for Neil's movie to greenlight Prometheus 2(which Fox was not going to green-light). So Fox and Ridley put "Alien" in the title and brought back the creatupre with a mess of a story, more tampering of the Alien lore and basically a lackluster film. Neil's film is praised by James Cameron as "gangbusters!" and has his backing/support with both Weaver and Biehn saying they'd love to return and Lance Henrickson(Bishop) hinting at the 30th Aliens Anniversary panel at San Diego Comic Con that Bishop ages so his human counterparts don't feel out of place when they age! Neil's leaked concept art gained huge positive worldwide press with ALIENS fans excited for the return of Ripley, Hicks, Newt and Bishop. This movie has to get made. Ridley has taken his ball and went home and poked holes in it to boot. 20th Century Fox-if you green light this movie with Ripley, Hicks, Newt and Bishop battling Aliens one last time, it'll be a smash hit. Give Neil a chance. Do this. For us!

Covenant stunk bad, get Ridley Scott out of that damn chair he shames himself. Alien 5 had such promise, let's hope Fox wakes up....

So Alien 5 with Ripley, Hicks, Newt and Bishop getting a fitting finale which is something I always wanted to see for years and it only took one person to think of the right story and the people at Fox would rather back up Ridley Scott? Alien Covenant is the worst I've seen since Alien 3! Alien Covenant is the worst creature feature film of the entire franchise! There has not been a good Alien film Since James Cameron's 1986 classic Aliens. Blomkamp needs to make this film.
