This proposal is not keeping with the standard of the neighborhood or the vision we were all provided by sales people and printed materials when buying homes in Traditions.

As a real estate broker specializing in Traditions, the property value of the Bridgewater homes backing up to the proposed townhomes will be negatively impacted. The residents of homes purchased in Traditions understood from maps provided prior to purchase and closing this land for the proposed townhomes would be for "commercial use", not residential use. The frontage and the buffer of the proposed townhomes is not sufficient in keeping with the standards of the neighborhood. I support this petition to maintain the current property value, keep within standards of the current specifications of building within Traditions and to support quality of life.

Proposed townhomes are overwhelmingly detrimental to Traditions, and exceedingly so for Bridgewater Community.

My family and I live in Reservoir View Lane. We enjoy waking up to deer walking in our backyards. We are against the plan of building 37 townhomes in our backyard. We appreciate all the neighbors of Traditions supporting us in this fight.

Please seriously consider the community. This project does NOT improve the quality of life for any of the surrounding neighborhoods.

There continues to be the erosion of reasonable margins between developments and retaining quality of life and property.

The amount of dens housing development/construction being planned fir the Traditions area I of Wake Forest will forever change the look and ambiance of the town. No thought seems to be given to the impact on the residential infrastructure and long term effects on this area.

We, the people of Wake Forest have not lived here because it was an inner city Urban area. We grew up here and stayed, or moved her due to the small town feel and suburban life style. It seems that the city planning department is working diligently to change that.

No variance should be granted, stop giving away Wake Forest, this is not Durham!

I strongly oppose the proposal. High density and close proximity to street does not fit the aesthetics of the Traditions neighborhood.

This is a crazy idea, it is hard enough to cross Grande Traditions without getting ran over already.

There are kids from our neighborhood who walk to Envisions Academy so this proposal of 37 townhouses with about 100 drivers exiting the proposed alleyway where these kids have to cross is an irresponsible plan. Also, no other townhome clusters in our neighborhood back up to single-family homes anywhere near as close as these would and 20 feet of shrubs is a laughable buffer.
