Neighbors Against the I-440 Interchange at Granny White Pike

This proposal is one of the most ill-considered I've ever heard of. What a preposterous and harmful solution to alleviating traffic congestion on Hillsboro Pike.

Honor the resolution passed in 1998.

As one of the neighbors who live across the street from Gale Lane Park & who fought for its establishment when there were few supporters, I would be extremely disappointed to see the hard work of my fellow neighbors and everyone who helped us be for naught. Robbing Peter to pay Paul is not a solution to Green Hills' traffic problems.

I think that an off ramp on Franklin Pike near the 440 and Woodmont would be ideal for both alleviating traffic in Green Hills and the 12S area

An interchange at Granny White with resultant heavy traffic would ruin the ambiance and environment of the 12 south neighborhood without positively affecting the green hills area. Granny White is not set up to accommodate the traffic that such interchange would create. It would also negatively affect all neighborhoods in the vicinity. Please NO to interchange at Granny White Pike.

Would someone of the planning commission explain how a I-440 exchange will reduce congestion on Hillsboro Pike? If you want to reduce congestion, widen Hillsboro Pike.

I am a resident of this area, living just down the road from this proposed exit. An exit at this location would create something similar to what we have at Hillsboro Road eventually. It would destroy the aura of the 12th South community. Sevier Park is heavily utilized by walkers, runners, and families. The impending heavy traffic would create much more danger for this area as it relates to these groups of people.

this is a walking neighborhood with runners and bikers as well. Houses close to the street and already a traffic problem going thru 12 south as the road narrows even further. To have an exit on granny white doesn't make any sense at all for those of us who live in the neighborhood and would be only a frustration for those who are exiting.

I live one block off Granny White... an interchange would cause more problems than it would solve.

Resident of 12 South. Gale Avenue, 12th Avenue South/Granny White, and area have nothing to do with Green Hills traffic. Poor traffic signal timing and location do. Vote "No" to an I-440 exit at Granny White/12th and Gale.
