Protect historic, two-land Ganny White and contemporary, streetscaped 12th Av business district. Interstate traffic would ruin both.

I am opposed to the I440 interchange at Granny White Pike. This interchange would destroy the residential character of the Southern part of the 12 South, Belmont-Hillsboro, as well as the Green Hills Neighborhoods along Woodmont Blvd and Granny White Pk. Granny White Pk is to narrow to handle the increased traffic.

Aside from being so close by one already in existence on a four lane road, a highway exit onto a two-lane road in the heart of residential neighborhood is a terrible idea.

Granny white interchange is an amazingly bad idea! How about traffic solutions that include consideration if pollution control and protection of green spaces?

Why put an exit less than half a mile from an existing one? If we need a new exit to alleviate traffic, it should be on 8th avenue.
