No way this kid should be held back. He has a right to live with his father/Family and participate School hosted UIL events (athletics). They didn’t move to cooper district - he simply chose to live with his father per his legal rights and Cooper School district happens to be the District his father lives in. He siblings share the same athletic interest and all but one attend the same school district. This was not the right decision.

He only gets one year of junior athletics. Don’t strip it because he moved to be closer to his family.

I believe if he lives in the district he should be allowed to play in that district period!

UIL is always cheating students out of their rights to change school districts. I don't believe it's fair at all. Let this young man do what he loves. Swallow your pride and do what's right.
