We need Lethbridge to be safe again in play grounds and around neighbourhood also streets places we think are safe for kids such as parks swimming etc. This need to stop they need to stop supporting drug attics with clean needles to leave around

We’ve lived in Tudor Estates for 8 years and our kids have never found needles here until now. One of the reasons we moved from the London Road area was to gain some distance from the drug dealing & debris we encountered there.

I am a concerned Mother as my daughter is lost in addiction. She has now turned to shooting up. Very heartbreaking and sad. I will not give up on her and give her that extra push if need be to get help.

We need to make are schools and playgrounds safe again. I feel that they want their fix, then do it on arches property.

This city is becoming a very scared place. It is not the nice city that it was even 10 years ago. This situation has to stop. We do not need these services here for these individuals. There are so many business owners that are struggling due to this. These facilities need to be shut down. What kind of people do we have running this city anyway, this is disgusting. The6 are putting us all in danger. Wake up Mr Mayor and look at what you have done to city, you have destroyed it!

Thankfully I didn’t have to worry about this when my kids were growing up in Lethbridge but it’s pretty unsettling to be worried for my grandchildren now!

It’s not about insuring addicts have clean needles it’s about giving them a safe place away from the public to do their drugs and be monitored and mabey have drug counselers they can talk too.

I really think the needle debris is getting really disgusting . And to have kids see it . Is even more disgusting. As they may pick it up to see what it is. Something needs to be done and I think Chris spearman Is a fool to think the needle debris is planted ! Come on FOOOL It’s Time TO Be OPENING up your EYES or look at stepping down from your Position and get someone new in for Mayor

Don't let needles leave the site. Explore possibilty of needle exchange only after a few months of this restriction, and ONLY if problems DRASTICALLY reduce. I believe part of the purpose of Arches was to fix or drastically reduce the issue of needles being left around the city. DO NOT assume addicts have any thoughts or sense of reason after they have consumed. They are only concerned if it affects their addiction AT BEST.
