Done I signed it, nothing SAFE about the safe injection site. And the poor businesses around it, going to have to shut down their businesses after many years of serving this community. Come on it needs to be closed down NOW!! Those drugs are illegal and dangerous, should not be encouraged to use. The innocent will get harmed.

It is without a doubt, time that our city counsil steps up and helps our disintegrating city!
Stop following and LEAD our city to a safe place. Children, families and local business are suffering. Why? Why are you turning your heads? We are crying out for help and you are NOT listening! Please stop the excuses, stop protecting and enabling those that have made their choice. Start protecting the young and the innocent that have the right to live and be safe in our city!
Please!

I lived in Lethbridge formerly, we moved January 2018 due to the needle debris and loitering in my alleys. My preschool aged children were not safe to play in my own backyard. After Mr. Spearmans comments about not liking the epidemic, to just move. We were happy to oblige. Citizens and children’s safety is a number 1 priority. Funding should go towards access to intox, detox, and treatment centres. Access to help would be more fundamental then funding harm reduction!!!!

Absolutely for the cleaning up of our streets and City! We should have pride for our wonderful City, and to keep offering "safe sites" for drugs and needles only is not helping, you are merely furthering the problems! We must put an end to this.

Council has to address their poorly planned support of this program and either get the issue of dangerous debris laying around or shut it down. Maybe they're too busy planning their next fiasco....free booze for alcoholics.

Definately need to keep needlesoff the streets. Protect all the citizens of Lethbridge. Maybe in order for them to have access to a new needle, they have to return an old one. At least the addicts would be picking up the needles to turn in to a safe deposit place.

This is causing such a huge problem. Arches needs to be able to keep needles on site for safer disposal. By leaving with the needle will cause people to find them in places they shouldn't be. By having them in one place reduces the risk of children finding them.
