Something needs to be done. Our children are more important than drugs.

We should not have to be in danger from needles because some people want to be addicted. If we are already giving them free needles make them stay in the spot to return the needle back to the person that they got it from. Enough is enough

As a soon to be mom, this has been worrying me and my husband for a while. I hope we get enough signitures to have this happen.

It's pretty bad when I have to tell my son not to pick up the needles in our yard. This is ridiculous. Do something. It's also pretty bad when citizens are picking up the ball to do something because our elected officials are not. All it takes is one person to do something. Why is it the responsibility of society to look after this mess, when it is caused by Civic government?.

Our children deserve to play in a safe environment! This system is backwards. Drugs should not be handed out for “free” to people who do not contribute to society when there are those who are sick who cannot afford medication.

Even to have safe needle drop off bins (yellow bio hazard bins) would be better than allowing the users to leave them on the ground. Why do we show so much care towards keeping them healthy and disease free if they aren’t going to return the favor?

The needles are crazy. We take daycare kids to that park all the time, or, we used to. It's now a huge liability. The children shouldn't have to suffer their right to play because the city cant control NEEDLES of all things.
