Needle Exchange Program

I would like none allowed off the premises

Clean it up!! This needs to stop! Our kids are now effective by it and when kids are at risk because of the needles being left on grounds and where they play it becomes a problem!

I hate that I constantly have to refuse taking my children to the park because of this filth everywhere. Something needs to be done.

I live in the neighbourhood of Arches. I know that we are tired of dealing with needles, no parking, and lots of different people.

Please do a needle exchange

I would really like to see Lethbridge incorporate a needle exchange program. Or at the very least hold someone responsible for the clean up of all the dirty needles in our city.

I’ve never seen a needle in my life laying on the street or park etc, up until the past year and a half / two years. It’s obviously getting worse, not better. I have to worry about my dog stepping on a needle or eating one where ever we go, they are every where in this city.

Something NEEDS to be done! Society should think about our kids safety first, not about supporting drug addicted people by giving them a free needles.

The consumption site is allowing addicts to do their illegal drugs safely on site, but handing out free needles to addicts who don't really care where and when they use and how they dispose of said needles. Thats the problem right there.

Need more rehabs not places that handout needles to be thrown around the city!

Something needs to be done this has gotten out of hand. Someone argued that the needle exchange woukdnt work as it would cost healthcare money due to addicts using dirty needles. But what about the public who are at risk of touching or hurting themselves on the discarded needles? Wouldn't that cost more? If this doesn't get resolved in some sort of way I will be leaving Lethbridge behind and won't come back as will other people.

Free needles to addicts yet people with diabetes have to buy their's .. Something wrong with this picture..

I have a 5yr old child and the sight of needles needs to stop. I can't let him play in a park without me doing a full search first. Us honest tax payers should have more rights than drug addicts. Rules don't stop for them!
