As a mom of young children and a child care provider, I’m worried about this problem. Children have rights to have safe environments. They should be worried or afraid of those hazards in where they play. Please keep our community safe for everyone!

Absolutely agree! I have had to call for needle pickup from the alley 2 blocks from my home. Needles seen on the lawn of a home kitty corner to Ecole St Mary.

Kids should have more rights then addict's!! It's ridiculous the amount of things already against our children's well being and now this added as well?? I'm disgusted that nobody on city council can't see or couldn't foresee this happening!!

This program needs a massive overhaul, the tax payers shouldn't be paying for these addicts needles, if they want fresh clean needles to get their fix, let them pay for their own addictions

It is a sad reality that safe injection sites are necessary, however I agree that either they are not allowed off the premises or exchange used for clean. Two weeks ago, a man came to clean my yard and found a whole bag full of used needles and there were loose ones as well. I have a three year old Grandson who likes to play back there and a dog. Enough is enough!!

Keep the needles off the streets. Give them one to inject at the site and make them leave it.

Yes ... time to take care of the people and families that pay the taxes. Come on move the addicts out further and make more shelter outside od the city. Im all for helping them but not at the expense of the safety of children, elderly and loyal tax payers.

Unlimited number of needles handed out is not the answer. An exchange program would be a great way to begin making a change...

I’m kind of appalled that this wasn’t even predicted that this would become an issue! Needles should never have been allowed off the premises in the first place! Unbelievable!
