There is a drug crisis in our town that needs to be addressed, and I feel that when the safe injection site opened things became worse! I dont believe that We should wait til a child gets seriously hurt before we take this seriously and start working at the root of the problem!!! I have also used this site as a teaching tool to talk to my kids about drugs and being safe in the downtown area. I want my old Lethbridge back!

Let them die. Waste of my tax money. This is the most outrageous and stupid program I have ever seen. Look to Edmonton, if you want any pointers.

I don’t live in Lethbridge but my grandchildren do. Don’t wait until we have a child injured or killed because of a dirty needle. Keep our children safe!

I think a needle return is a great idea, our children are the future they should have a voice. I have 2 kids and I dont want to see them get hurt from the needles or catch something or get high. Its up to us adults to keep it as safe as we can for them.

This is to be expected when needles are handed out like candy

Wow. Leaches on society junkies are more important than the safety of our kids.

Protect our parks and houses from hurting our children! They SHOULD NOT be given out free!

They should check with Vancouver. Did there work no not really. They keep saying it cost saving for AHS. Id like to see the prove of that. Lethbridge citizens should not be required to check pay grounds, school yard, there oen yards before oir children are safe to play. This safe site is just another way keep agencies in jobs. Regardless is tax payers would to fund the bill. Addicts right should not supersede an innocent child. They live in a free world everything they get is free. But someone had to pay.

When my tax paying dollars are going to a cause that I don't support "arches" enabling site is what it should be called, and your taking away my rights and my children's rights to live in a safe community, something is seriously wrong! The nerve to say that as parents it is up to us to look around for needles everywhere we go is an absolute joke, we shouldn't be making it easier for drug addicts to USE, we should be cleaning up our city from it.

I’m all for clean needles, but safety of addicts should not trump the safety of children in parks.

I completely agree! I found a used needle just today cleaning the parking lot at the hotel I work at and it wasn’t even the first time!

I’m all over this! Let’s get the city infrastructures attention and make them hear us! I’ve been doing my part to clean up this disgusting garbage as well.

Do our kids not deserve to live a healthy life? But the addicts do.. Think about it and pull your heads from your asses
