Ive seen alot of addiction and struggled myself. I cleaned up and have a 5 month old daughter. Addiction is not a disease. It is a personal choice which some people will make...but now it is affecting the innocent.

Our city is enabling and assisting in an illegal act of using drugs and it is putting the law abiding citizens and their children at risk. What is this world coming to???

If they refuse to stop facilitating the “free needle” campaign then it the needles need to stay in the building! The junkies need to use in the facility and the needles distributed in a biohazard container!! This is getting so dangerous for our community here in lethbridge!!

This is system is possibly working on some level but the frequency of needles being found and the danger it puts young kids in is not working.....at all! Lethbridge city council needs to fix this!!!

City needs to get involved here. The safe injection site is not enough. Let's make Lethbridge unfriendly to users who drop needles without regard for others.

I completely agree with this petition it isn’t fair that junkies who have an addiction not a disease get free needles while people who have actual diseases such as diabetes have to pay for their medical supplies it’s absolutely ridiculous and unfair. Call addiction what it actually is rather than calling it something it’s not. It’s not a disease it is willingly killing yourself with a harmful chemical. It’s stupid that people get to kill them selves free of charge but people with a disease who have loving families and actually want to live have to pay a price for their own life.

My 3 year old daughter was cut with a razor blade at her daycare which an Addict had thrown over the fence. She is going through multiple Blood tests as well as had to get hepB antibody blood plasma. Something needs to change.
