No needles should be leaving the building. Why did we build a safe injection site if we're allowing them to leave the building to shoot-up?

Our children need our protection. Our elected mayor & aldermen, maybe now would be a good time to do what you promised to do once you were elected. Which is to protect the citizens of this city, especially the children who do not know or understand what is going on. It is a disgrace and disheartening what is happening to our city, which once was a beautiful city. Not so sure anymore as its heading downhill. All I can say at this time to city officials is Shame, Shame on you for allowing this to happen, especially since a little boy has been poked and no one is stepping up to take responsibility for it. I think we are better then this. Feeling really disappointed with the city. No, I am not planning on moving as the mayor has suggested to others, if you don't like it you can move. Wrong kind of attitude to the people who voted you in.

Something needs to be done now to make sure needles never get off the 'Safe Injection Site'. We want our communities to be safe, especially the areas for our children. My heart also goes out to the police and emergency services as they are called into places and areas filled with used needles to help drug addicts.

Outraged at free needles being distributed while other folks can barely provide their basic needs like food and shelter

100% agree that no needles should be handed out or leave the safe injection site! Is the safety of a careless drug addict really more important than keeping our children safe? This should be a no brainer.

Seriously, the needles should be available to people who NEED IT my dad is a diabetic and he’s also going through radiation treatments and he STILL has to pay an arm and a leg for everything he needs. How fair is that?

Hopes that the clean up and distribution of needle exchange clinics will have better site control .

Needles are being found on the floor of banks where ATM’s are located. Schools and banks are being affected. Not only are children affected but adults too. This is affecting our daily lives. No distribution of needles outside the facility please. I want to be able to go to a financial institution and deposit or take out my money from a bank without concern.

One amendment, do not allow ANY needles off-site. Provide a safe location to users and thereby safety to public by reducing needles outside
