I think they should stay on site. So that little children don’t see them or get hurt by them.

If they take a needle, they need to. Ring a needle or two back to get a new needle

This is so getting out of hand and I blame our wonderful mayor and a few of his team for not having the balls to stop this......

I work downtown and only used to have to worry about finding needles in our bathrooms during the winter but now we had to daily. Sick of how bad it’s getting and city barely doing anything to help it.

I totally agree the problem would decrease with needle users leaving them at the place they get them..

The needles must stay on site for the protection of all the citizens who pay taxes for this site!

I hope that if we can make a few changes that people will actually get the help they need rather than just adding fuel to the fire

They should number each needle given out and require it to be returned in order to be given another needle. It should never leave the property and if it does and is found then it can be traced back to the person who left it. Its not acceptable to be leaving needle around. There could even be a charge set in place so that I they trace it back to who left it they get a fine. There are fines for littering in some places. And there are fines for parking in a handicap stall without a placard. Obey the rules or be punished.

Our Beltline neighbourhood,in Calgary, is dealing with the same issues since the opening of the Safe Injection Site. Like Lethbridge, none of the city officials and politicians are listening to the community about issues and safety concerns. Stop pandering and enabling ADDICTION and come up with means for treating ADDICTION. As it stands now, safe injection sites are just allowing JUNKIES TO BE JUNKIES with no concerns to public safety a.k.a. Taxpayers
Let’s hope this works
Would prefer to just see it shut down!
I believe needles should remain onsite only!
