This intersection has become more and more congested with pedestrians and traffic over the years with the increase of housing along Buffaloe road. Accidents frequently occur here at all times of the day! The recent death of a pedestrian is very disturbing and additional housing to this corner will only cause this to become a more dangerous intersection!

When I voted for David Cox it was on the platform of curbing urban decelopment and allowing more green spaces to remain intact withing the City of Raleigh. Since then, I have seen apartment complexes pop up at a speedier rate than before all around our subdivision. I am opposed to yet another apartment complex being built on the corner of Buffaloe and N New Hope Road. We need a park for our children, a community vegetable garden, or essential services like doctor's offices, pre-school, library, i do not want another traffic corridor like Louisburg Road or Capital Blvd became after all the apartments started to pop up.

This request is ill considered, breaks trust with the neighborhood, and creates is hazardous to both motorized and foot/bicycle traffic. A great deal of work went into creating the small area plan and the zoning conditions now in force. Deny this proposal, please
