Does Raleigh really need more high-density housing? Traffic congestion especially around Lidl is already dangerous. Build neighborhoods, not 4 story eyesores. We're watching City Council!

Apartments are too big and have too many units for this residential area.

No high rise apartments on the corner of Buffaloe and N. New Hope.

Please deny Zoning Proposal Z45-20. Putting approximately 500 people in a 4-story apartment complex where New Hope and Buffaloe Rds. intersect makes no sense. Those of us in the area know first-hand how dangerous the intersection is. Please put yourself and family in our position. You would be afraid of injuries, and yes, even death of you or your loved ones. Just last month, a man was killed crossing New Hope Rd. Please deny Proposal Z45-20. Thank you. Phyllis Mueller

This will have too many children running around our area unsupervised. They will be bored and destructive in the summers.

I echo several concerns already mentioned including additional traffic entering/exiting the property to further confuse an already busy intersection, the addition of the 4th story, and I will add the increase in wastewater (from 12,288 gal to 93,147 gal). Where will residents enter/exit property? Is underground parking an option? Thank you.

Planning Department needs to come out and see our problems in person then have their meeting. There are already two(2) developments in progress now that will add to our traffic problem. Buffalo Road, which is right behind my home is used as a race track for hot riders and cars with loud mufflers. Buffalo needs to be widened.

That intersection already has numerous car and pedestrian accidents every year and the last thing we want is more fatalities. The horrible apartment complex will only increase traffic and congestion in our neighborhood! The apartment complex will also substainally decrease property values.

Too much traffic already.

Traffic already is horrendous at and near the intersection of New Hope and Buffaloe roads. It will get only worse with the completion of two major apartment complexes a mile down Buffaloe near I-540. Count on many more accidents, injuries and deaths if hundreds of more residents--and their cars--are allowed by a large complex on New Hope. This project is traffic disaster in the making if NOT denied.

I do not think that the city of Raleigh is ever on the side of property owners.

I would like for the Council’s to reject the new plan proposed of rezoning the area to build apartments. Please accept the Buffaloe/New Hope small area plan created by community members in this district a few years ago when a proposal for building a Walmart was presented. Thank you

I oppose this as the traffic on buffaloe road is.l very bad and it gets backed up all the way to i540. With groceries store there , we don’t need apartments

The traffic is a nightmare already, please don’t make it worse by jam packing low income and possibly uninsured drivers into this area

I implore you to accept the Buffaloe/New Hope small area plan created by community members in this district and reject the plan proposed by the city. Thank you
