Petition Against National Defense Authorization Act and other Oppressive legislation We the People of the United States of America demand that our elected representatives fulfill their sworn oath to defend and uphold the Constitution of the United States of America. Recently passed legislation including the National Defense Authorization Act, the legislation allowing 30,000 drones over the United States and the TSA's use of mind reading technology against American citizens gives the government the power to create a police state. These acts eliminate the Bill of Rights that are inalienable and not government given. They also eliminate Posse Comitatus that has protected citizens since the Civil War. We demand the return to a government of the people, by the people and for the people and the elimination of legislation that violates our Constitution. We further demand that future bills be single issue bills and limited to 25 pages of clear English except for bills such as budgets. We want bills read before votes and we demand a monthly accounting of how each elected official voted in the previous month of any and all bills.
