WE THE UNDERSIGNED WOULD LIKE TO BRING YOUR ATTENTION TO THE FOLLOWING PROBLEM, WITH RECOMMENDATION(S): The act of N.C.L.I. Is to get kids to play outside in an unstructed play area. We want to bring your attention to this because, on average kids spend an average of under 4 minutes in unstructured play area and more than 6 hours a day inside in front of electronics. Today nearly 25 million children are overweight or obese. Over the past forty years, obesity rates have increased by 5 times in children ages 6-11. Because of the No Child Left Behind law of 2001, many schools no longer teach Environmental Education (EE) classes. (EE) has been found to have a positive impact on subjects such as science, math, and social studies. It has also been found to reduce discipline problems in class, and helps to build up basic life skills. We must work together to pass the N.C.L.I bill into law.
so true. schools are just test factories now. let them run around outside like we did.

My grandson never puts his tablet down. It breaks my heart to see them glued to screens all day. Kids need to be outside getting dirty and learning real things.
