We NEED this pool in our community. Swim lessons and the chance to have open free swim is so important for our youth to learn the skill of swimming.

This is a community resource that should not go away. Kids need a place to learn to swim. Athletes need a place to train and less able people need access to healthy, low impact means of keeping fit.

The NCCC pool is used extensively by members of the community of all ages. Children use the pool for fun, recreation and learning to swim. Adults use the pool for exercise, fitnesss and training for events, senior citizens use the pool for exercise & relaxation. The pool serves the needs of many people who suffer from medical conditions or injuries. There are many options for bringing in more revenue to finance operation of the pool. I sincerely hope that the college does not make a decision to close this valuable community asset.

With thousands of ponds and lakes in our backyard, we cannot afford to lose the only place offering swimming lessons to children in this and the surrounding communities. There has to be a creative solution within reach.

The NCCC pool is a wonderful asset to our communities. NCCC needs to hire more lifeguards in order to keep the pool open, offer more times as well as offer more services, such as swim lessons, and rec swim. Please do not close this pool.
