Honestly couldnt have said it better myself. Thats why i believe this issue shouldnt be over looked and needs to be brought to the publics attention.

If we as students are told to join extracurriculars, yet keep up with our schoolwork, our daily responsibilities such as chores or taking care of younger siblings or sick family members, then why should student athletes not get paid? We basically get told to get involved, and yet some of us don't even graduate. we think joining a sport would actually help with our involvement and get us better jobs so we're too busy trying to do things, and join things, but its hard to keep a busy schedule. pay them!!!

The NCAA makes soo much money which they should waste on players also since they need a way to support themselves and their families!
