Certainly agree that the testing should take place before the Holiday break. It is difficult to get students back into the education mode after a 2 or 3 week break. Tests should be taken after the classwork is completed.

NC needs to do what’s best for their students...not tourism...you will still get your money for tourism, it will just come in June instead of August!

New semester after Christmas break among other things, makes it most convenient for students taking Career & College promise classes. Rescheduling exams, finding proctors all way too time consuming!

This suggestion is sensible. Two to three weeks of winter break does not help students to retain the study materials.
