i am not a member of twitter or face book and do NOT want my email or name given to any politican but i endorse and want the state of NC to make it a felony offense not a misdemenor on puppy mill operators and severe fine please show my name as i am a resident of Watugua County Boone NC and a veteran long time resident of NC an sick and tired of animals being abused and suffering due to ignorant people abusing animals

NC is a puppy mill haven, and it has to stop. Dogs are suffering, breeders are torturing these animals, and they're avoiding paying taxes.

NO puppies or even older dogs should experience the lack of quality of life that is so widespread within the Puppy Mill system...PLEASE do whatever is necessary to regulate the industry...it is far from humane!

There are no words to describe how heartbreaking it is that puppy mills exist. I have no comment. I just think that everyone should sign this petition.

I was in Elizabeth City approx 4 mos. ago & while visiting we went by the marina..I noticed that there was a rusty, old SUV but with open back..I observed that there were quite a few puppies, I immediately called the Humane Society & they assured me that they would look into it...when I returned to the marina, the suv had gone...about 2 hrs. later, I hope & pray, they did in fact look into this!...Later,I heard that one of the largest known puppmill had been investigated -& took care of it...
