We need to make a statement to anyone who would run a puppy mill that it will not be tolerated, by charging them to the fullest extent of the law! maybe more criminals will think twice about operating mills. Save the animals!

We must improve regulatory control/management and funding for animal welfare. Transferring oversight to DPS along with appropriate funding is a first step in correcting this problem and is long overdue. Please pass legislation to make this happen in the 2014 budget. Thank you.

The NC shelters I work with that are not run by Public Safety are the worst in the state. Please change this now & provide them with consistency & enforcement!
