Agree...we are being taxed to death...and our roads are hard on vehicles when the potholes are bigger than the tires!!!!!

Got a 89 mustang lx project that i paid 1500$ on it but they charge me taxes on 4000$

It's crazy how much the government charges us for everything! I can't see where the tax payers money is spent education is cut yearly road maintenance cut's everything is being cut back except our ridiculous taxes.

Can't buy the car you want because you can't even know the actual tax total on it till you get to the snb with the registration and change it in your name. If you budget can't afford it you are stuck with a payed car but can't drive it because you can't pay the ridiculous tax . They will not help you at all .

Last year I got an 05 Nissan 240,000 kms needed 600$ in parts to pass inspection paid 1600 for it and they charged me tax on 4000$

I agree 100% they need to to stop ripping us off.. It is bad enough a car will get taxed several times through out its life. Should only get taxed when its new. That means depending on a make and model and how many times it sells the goverment will make more money from taxes then the car manufacture?! Lile comeon

The way the government of handles things is a disgrace . They wonder why the Atlantic provinces are srinking in population

If you take a vehicle and figure that it will last on our New Brunswick roads (if you can call a beat up pothole ridden broken pavement no sholdered path) for 15 years and in that 15 years the car has gone thru perhaps 4 owners then the cost of the taxes paid on it would be almost as much as what the vehicle sold for new, it just wrong, wrong, wrong!
