I fully support naturopathic treatment and for naturopaths to continue to treat patients with laboratory tests as well as other necessary treatments

Without naturopathic treatments and testing, we would never have found out what was causing my sons ailment. We need to ensure they have access to all tests. Naturopaths go above and beyond for their patients.

Family physician, paediatrician nor allergist were able to help my son. Only a Naturopath and the lab tests were able to get to the root of my son's health problem. My daughter and myself have also benefitted from such services as well.

Given the strain on the existing healthcare system, it behooves us to find alternative, complementary ways to meet the medical needs of our growing (and aging) population. Naturopaths are part of a broad health care community committed to the wellness of their patients, along with MDs, osteopaths, physiotherapists, etc. Quit being so protectionist, and see this as what it is... a way to share the burden, to carry the load of health care, versus an attack on a doctor's "exclusive right" to practice medicine. Nonsense!

I have seen a Naturopathic Doctor for over 25 years. I should have the right to continue to receive the same care I have always gotten. It is my right as a resident of Ontario to choose my doctor, and to receive the appropriate testing necessary for my diagnosis. Why fix something that isn't broken, unless it's yet another money grab and further burden to our medical system!

I Need Dr.Lee to be able to access Government Laboratory in order to best take care of my Health.

This is so wrong. Naturopathic Doctors are able to help so many people. By not allowing them access to laboratories you limit there ability to help. Why should we be told to go to a medical dr. Who says there way is the right way. It may be different, doesn't make it the only way.

As a victim of MCS (Multiple Chemical Sensitivity Syndrome), I have a right to the only expertise that I have been able to find through my Naturopath and his abilities and guidance. The Ministry of Health needs to ensure our Naturopaths are provided with the necessary access to laboratory tests offered by external licensed labs, which will in turn provide me and others with the continued access to safe and effective diagnosis. I would still be a heavy burden on the medical system and NOT as healthy as I am now without my Naturopath and his access to testing labs and their results. Limiting their access will NOT bring me back to medical doctors who do not understand my illness or how to treat it.

These tests and consequent remedies have helped me, my daughter and my grand daughter. Please don't allow them to be discontinued!

As a family of 5, we have the right to choose to have a Naturopath assist us with our health issues and with prevention of illness. Their expertise and guidance, coupled with our positive life choices, are what have us the incredibly healthy family we are today. We request the support of the Ministry of Health to ensure our Naturopaths are provided the necessary access to laboratory tests offered by external licensed labs, which will in turn provide us with the continued access to safe and effective diagnosis.

Naturopathic medicine has helped me far more than conventional medicine. I would never be this healthy if it wasn't for my naturopathic dr. We really need to start thinking in a forward direction instead of backwards.

Why is this even being proposed? Like many government moves, this makes no sense at all. Let naturopaths keep their access to these tests!

If we had more Naturopaths perhaps the cost of health care in this province would be reduced. My experience has been that my Naturopath has been able to get to the root of the problem and treat it rather than the symptom.
