We are a group of students from the University of Turin, who stand for the rights of the native people of Australia who lack access to renewable energy sources and we strongly believe that every single individual within the nation should be subject to equal treatment. A huge amount of Indigenous people still rely on diesel generators, which badly affects their health as well as the environment. Since there is no effective mechanism to pressure their government to change policies governing how Native Australians should be treated, we wondered whether their rights might be strengthened and their voice could travel around the globe through a petition.
