It's such a shame so many people travel outside of Ireland to train for a range of ice sports because we don't have the facilitates here throughout the year. We really need a permanent ice rink in Ireland.

Ireland badly needs an Ice Arena so that we can all enjoy the many varied sports and recreational activities it would provide. In this country where weather can hamper many outdoor sports, this would be a fantastic opportunity to provide an indoor sports facility for all to enjoy.

yes I would like to see a national ice arena built as soon as possible ,not only will it benefit the healh of our population ,it will give employment and enhance our tourism

Ireland needs a rink, there are people all over the world, one being me, who would enjoy coming to skate there. Birthday parties, broom ball , public ice. Synchro , ice theatre,, there are so many fun things to do on the ice. Figure skate, speed skate, hockey, sled hockey, curling,, so so many things to do.

With the amount of young adults and children taking up ice sports, it's about time Ireland had a permanent ice rink for them to use.
