The current offer is very far short of being acceptable. BA is trying to snatch away the most valuable asset that many BA staff have, and replace it with trinkets.

This proposal is very poor for most and totally unacceptable. Naps p2 especially will require a much much better offering .

The present proposal to closed NAPS, and replace it with a DC is unacceptable since the present proposal falls far short of what is required. My key areas for concern are. The proposed company contribution is far to low, as is the cash lump sum offer. Pre 2007 NAPS should be linked to final salary...not CPI.
There is insufficient time for member to make up the shortfall. Groups such as NAPS SFO will be unfairly worst off. The company is reducing benefits which are not linked to the deficit. There is no arrangement to salary sacfrafice into Instruments such as ISAs.
As the proposal stands, it is unacceptable to myself.

Use Tesco's approach - realistic fund growth and use the most recent UK CMI 2016 / ONS data (plateauing life expectancy shown) to reduce the liabilities that way, Apply ill health pension uplift to NAPS pension already built up, I didn't select NRA of 65 for no reason, it was linked to getting an ill health pension of half my remaining time to retirement. Breaking the bond of trust with the proposal.

The proposals fall way short of acceptable. It is rather insulting of BA to make such a substandard proposal in the name of shareholder benefit.

Why is BA's biggest battle always with its loyal staff?
Worried of Yorkshire.
