Received: July, 2009 Victim Advocate Office 604 North Main Suite 200 Wichita, KS 67203 Hearing: October, 2009 RE: Donald Wacker ID#: 55281 On the morning of July 30, 1990, 9 year old Nancy Shoemaker was abducted during a trip to a nearby convenience store to get a bottle of 7-up for her sick little brother. Nearly seven months of searching for the missing dark-eyed 9 year old ended Feb. 19, 1991, when skeletal remains were positively idenfied as Nancys after a jogger from Belle Plaine found her remains. Wacker was convicted of aiding the kidnapping and aiding a felon in the murder of Nancy.and was sentenced to 16 years to life. Wacker will have served 17 years when he is considered for parole. We, the undersigned, STRONGLY OPPOSE parole for Donald Wacker. Justice demands he serve the full prison term given to him at the time he was sentenced for this heinous crime.
