I have known Coach Cieplik all my life, and he has been a mentor and like a second father to me. The time and efforts he put into athletes and the Academy alone warrant this effort.

Absolutely the best idea I’ve heard in a long time. I left a lot of sweat on that grass under Coach’s trachings. It wasn’t just soccer, but also to be an officer.

Ray was an inspirational leader at CGA both as the Head Coach of Men’s Soccer as Athletic Director. Naming the field after him is a fitting honor to a man who served CGA with distinction and honor for many decades.

Wholeheartedly agree with this proposal. Coach C's consistent positive influence and encouragement is amongst the great memories of time spent as a cadet. He is a valued representative of the Academy teaching and coaching staff.

Coach Cieplik has been a lifelong mentor, and true example of integrity. He is by far the most influential teacher (and coach) in my life, and I know many others feel the same way. He’s done so much for CGA (and the USCG) seen and unseen!
