Fela is a national icon that has not been given the right place in history. Naming the National Theater after him will help tell our story as a nation and as a people
Fela is a phenomenon and while he was fighting for the voiceless with his music, he was beaten, bruised and battered but he weathered it all. His music put Nigeria on the world map, even in death, his legacies applauded and emulated more than that of any Nigerian leader living or dead. He deserves such a monumental, architectural masterpiece dedicated to his name and legacies. Fela Lives!

The National theatre is not really functioning at the moment, Fela deserves a better place. On the second thought asking for a better or functioning place for fela will be a dead on arrival request
